Where's check in? What time? - No need to check in with us, your home will be all set up for your arrival.  The driving instructions and the location of the key are both shown at the bottom of the Rental Agreement. You're welcome to check in anytime after 3:30PM Mountain Time.

Is there a maximum number of vehicles allowed? - Due to strict City of Stanley ordinances each home does have a maximum number of vehicles allowed on the property at any given time. Please ask about your specific home. This policy is strictly enforced. 

Can we bring our camper or motor home? - Campers and motor homes are prohibited, with few exceptions. If you want to bring your camper, please ask and we'd be happy to help.

What methods of payment do you accept? - Payments are made by check or cashier's check. We are also happy to accept credit cards. To offset some the processing fees we do charge a small surcharge.

What is your cancellation policy? - Cancellations occurring more than 60 days prior to arrival date will forfeit security deposit and receive a refund of the full rental payment. Cancellations less than 60 days prior to arrival date will forfeit security deposit and rental payment. If a reservation is cancelled, Sawtooth Vista Rentals will attempt to re-book the home.  If the home is re-booked, a refund will be given for the number of nights re-booked.  


Rental Payment, Damage Deposit & Rental Agreement:  - Security Deposit & Rental Agreement: A signed copy of the rental agreement is required within seven (7) days to secure your reservation.  A non-refundable security deposit of $500 is required within seven (7) days to secure your reservation. This deposit is not part of your rental payment. This deposit turns into your damage deposit the day of your arrival. The damage deposit is then refunded to you within 14 days after your departure, provided there is no damage to the home and you are in compliance with the terms of the rental agreement.  

Rental Payment: The full rental payment is due sixty (60) days prior to your arrival date.  

Can we bring our pet? - Pets are welcome in all of our homes with prior approval. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after pets and keeping them on leashes at all times when outdoors. Any damage or additional cleaning incurred will be at the renter's expense.

How do I check out? What time? - Please follow the departure responsibilities outlined in the "Welcome Sheet" provided upon arrival. Check out time is 10:30AM Mountain Time. Late check out by prior arrangement only, otherwise fees may apply.

Other Questions

What do I need to bring?- All rental properties are  setup for normal use and housekeeping. The following items are always included:

  • All bedding & linens
  • Bathroom tissue, soap, bath & hand towels
  • Paper towels, sponge, dishwasher detergent
  • Garbage bags, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, coffee filters, laundry detergent


Are your properties available for weddings? - Yes! Several of our homes do allow events. We'd be happy to help you plan yours.
