This beautiful, spacious log home sits along the banks of the Salmon River with an oversized deck and beautifully maintained lawn area to relax and enjoy your vacation. This quality home is comfortable and spacious, with ample room for the extended family to gather together for a Stanley vacation. This home is available as an event location, such as weddings, receptions, and reunions. Please inquire about rates and more information about events.
Location: This home is located in Lower Stanley, less than 2 miles from the heart of Stanley, on a private, wooded lot protected from the road by a fence and trees. The home is centrally located for all the recreational activities and 15 minutes from Redfish Lake.
Maximum Guest Count: Sleeps 10
Beds: 2 king-sized beds; 2 queen-sized beds, 2 twin beds.
Bedrooms: Five private bedrooms. There are four bedrooms on the main level and one bedroom upstairs. This home has two main bedrooms with a king-sized bed (one upstairs and one on the main level).
Bathrooms: 3 full bathrooms. 2 bathrooms have shower/tub combinations; 1 has a walk-in, handicap accessible shower
Amenities: On the banks of the Salmon River, wheelchair accessible, large log deck with a sun filtering cover, 2 glass top tables and a large variety of chairs, granite counters in the kitchen, propane gas barbecue, two wood-burning fireplaces (wood provided), washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave, WiFi, local telephone and fully stocked kitchen.
FAQs & Policies
Rental Season & Reservations: Available May 1st – October 1st. We begin taking 5-night+ reservations for the following year’s season on November 1st. 3-night+ reservations are accepted after April 15th. Stays less than 3 nights are not accepted.
Check-in/ Check-out: Check-in starts at 3 pm, but you’re welcome to arrive any time after that as we offer self check-in. Check-out is 11 am. The “Welcome Book” will have specific instructions for what to do prior to your departure.
Pets: Pets are not allowed at this property
Smoking/Recreational Fires: Please no smoking inside or outside the home. With extremely dry forests and a yearly fire season, we ask you don't smoke anywhere on the property. For the same reason, recreational fires are not allowed on the property.
Recreational Vehicles: RVs, campers, and/or trailers are not allowed on this property during your stay.
What to Bring: You’ll find all the essentials and cooking basics in the home. This includes towels, bed sheets, pillows, soap, 3 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, pots and pans, one roll of paper towels, dishes, flatware, coffee pot and filters, blender, toaster, dish soap, sponge, laundry detergent, garbage bags, and propane for BBQ. We do not provide hairdryers, irons, ironing boards, or Pak-n-Plays.
Events/Property Use: This home cannot be used as an event location or gathering place for people above the maximum guest count, except by written consent.
Event Rates & Requirements: When an event, such as a wedding, takes place on the property, both the Lodge at Salmon River and the Salmon River Home must be rented simultaneously for their advertised nightly rates. The two properties have a combined bedroom count of 9 bedrooms and sleeping for 18 guests. In addition, there is a $1000 event fee, 8% taxes (6% sales, 2% travelers), and a $250 cleaning fee. If alcohol is served, a liquor liability policy is required. There can only be a maximum of 50 people on the property during an event and 18 overnight guests between the two homes. River Access: This is one of the few rental properties in Stanley located along the Salmon River. With your rental, you will have river access. The river is fast-moving, and it's not recommended as a swimming area. Please watch young children very closely near the river's edge.
